Back in September 2005, ACCPA canvased its membership about features they would like to see made available via the Crime Prevention Alberta website. One of the features requested was a discussion forum where members could pose questions or talk about items of interest to them and their communities. ACCPA responded in December 2005 with the launch of the Crime Prevention Alberta Discussion Forum.

This forum has been available to members-only since December 2005. However, in an effort to increase the use of the forum and encourage new members to join the association, we have decided to make the forums open for public viewing. You can now view posts and subscribe to forum topics by clicking on the "Discussion Forum" link in the main menu however, you must still be a member of ACCPA to post messages to the forum. To become a member of ACCPA, please visit the "Membership" link in the main menu. If you are already a member of ACCPA, please login via the "Login" menu using the username and password supplied to you when you purchased your membership. 

We hope that by making the forums open for public viewing, we can stimulate greater use of the forums. At this time, we are not considering making the forums available for public posting.
