Contest Categories and Rules  

Property Crimes: Auto Theft, Break & Enter, Vandalism/Graffiti, Retail Theft,Theft From Vehicles

Crimes against Persons: Domestic Violence, Assault, Sexual Assault, Bullying, Senior Abuse,                                                    Prostitution

 Other Crime:  Drugs (using, dealing, manufacturing), Impaired Driving, Fraud (credit/Debit card,

                                       Cybercrime, Identity Theft), Counterfeit/Knock off Merchandise

   

Rules & Eligibility
  • Choose a subject that is of interest from one of the three categories
  • The video production MUST be sponsored and signed off by a teacher at your school
  • For the production to be eligible  for the contest, the “Model Release Agreement” and “Consent to Publish” waivers MUST be signed by all participants involved in the production and making of the video
  • Only two video productions will be accepted per school
  • The maximum length of the video cannot exceed 3 minutes
  • The production SHALL NOT contain sexist, racist, demeaning or obscene content
  • No inappropriate graphic depiction of sexual or violent acts
  • Video productions MUST be submitting to ACCPA on or before June 6. 2008
  • For security and privacy concerns, NO names of students or the school are to appear in the video production. Accreditation will be made available to Police agencies, Government and authorized community partners upon request.
