The Alberta Crime Prevention Resource Centre is pleased to provide you with a set of interactive learning materials developed by The Canadian Association of Chiefs of Police (CACP) and designed for use by police and their community partners in promoting community safety, health and well-being. The materials represent the work of the CACP Crime Prevention Committee.

The first component is a 1-hour video "Towards a Crime Prevention Coalition", accompanied by a discussion guide. The second component is a facilitator's manual for a 2-day interactive workshop entitled "Safer Communities Workshop: A Focus on Social Development". The discussion guide and the workshop manual are also available on the CACP website at http://www.cacp.ca/.
