Rachel Snyder will address domestic violence in her presentation: Every Voice Counts.
In addition to authoring a number of books, she’s also written for the Washington Post, the New Yorker, and the Chicago Tribune. Her latest book, No Visible Bruises: What We Don’t Know About Domestic Violence Can Kill Us examines the causes and effects of domestic violence, global consumerism, race and class prejudice, and other issues that impact society-at-large.
Snyder is an Associate Professor of Creative Writing and Journalism at American University in Washington D.C.
She will be available for a book signing following her
presentation.
