The training will be delivered virtually and in collaboration with Aruna Papp, renowned activist and educator, and author of "Unworthy Creature: A Punjabi Daughter's Memoir of Honour, Shame and Love." We are pleased to host Aruna, as this will be their last speaking engagement before officially retiring from public speaking.

Calgary’s kindest cycling event is moving! Join us Saturday, May 2, 2026, at Vivo for Healthier Generations. We take the sketchy out of buying used bikes through technology: we’ve eliminated the risk of the used bike market because we tech check every bike as safe to ride and we built our own Bicycle Swap Software to help end bike theft in our community. By syncing with major registries, we flag bikes with a 'reported' status instantly. But remember: software is only as fast as the data entered! If a bike hasn't been reported to the authorities or logged in a database yet, it won't show up. Help us help you—report and register early! We’re so confident that there are no stolen bikes in our event that we invite those with stolen bike police reports to see for themselves at 2:00.

This event fuels local impact. Donated bikes support CP Kids, Two Wheel View (TWV), Kiwanis, Optimists, Bicycles for Humanity, Bike Root, and dozens of others. Any surplus funds from this self-funded event are reinvested to support legitimate CAN-BIKE cycling education.

We are currently recruiting volunteers to join our team!

• When: Saturday, May 2, 2026

• Where: Vivo for Healthier Generations (11950 Country Village Link NE)

Hours:

• Consignment 8 AM–2 PM

• Peace of Mind 2 PM-2:30 PM (Bring your stolen bike police report so you can see your bike is NOT here)

• Sales 2:30 PM–5 PM

• Donations 8 AM-5 PM
